This Code applies to all alliance members
Failure to follow this Code may result in disciplinary action.
Warnings will be given first, except in extreme circumstances.
Respect and Equity - All members deserve to be treated equally and with respect at all times. Bad attitudes, abusive or discriminatory language, or insults towards fellow members will not be tolerated. Similarly, in interactions with players in other alliances, you are expected to be polite and non-abusive.
"Empire" Names - Immediately upon being accepted into a "|M|" alliance, players with "empire" names must change their name from the default empire name, and either move to the relevant cluster or provide their coordinates to their alliance leader. Failure to do so will result in the player being kicked.
Leadership Decisions - The leader and rank 4's make decisions that are in the best interests of the alliance, and sometimes they need to be made and actioned quickly. Please respect these decisions, and if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact your leader or a rank 4.
Orders - Direct orders are rarely made, as we welcome team work and a shared understanding of expectations. However, if your leader or a rank 4 in your alliance gives you a direct order, you are expected to follow it. If you have any concerns or questions regarding any orders, you are encouraged to discuss it respectfully with your leader or a rank 4.
Participation and Activity - Not all members have time or are comfortable to participate in their alliance chat room, however they are strongly encouraged to make a connection with one of their rank 4's and to communicate with them on a regular basis. Our alliances are not interested in keeping members that are no longer active in the game. As such, power levels are regularly monitored for signs of inactivity, and members who seem inactive will be sent multiple communications to check their status. If no response is received after numerous attempts, they will be kicked.
Non-Reinforcing Policy - If another alliance declares war on an alliance player, members are NOT to send reinforcements to the targetted player without permission from their leader or a rank 4. War rallies usually contain very strong players and sending reinforcements is usually a suicide mission. Also, the targetted player will be unable to activate a shield if they are waiting for reinforcements to arrive, which leaves them completely vulnerable to the attack if those reinforcements do not arrive before the war rally hits. If a member sends reinforcements and fails to recall them when ordered to do so, they will be instantly kicked.
War Rallies (against an alliance player) - It is highly recommended that all members have shields ready to use in their items, which can be purchased from the alliance store (cost - 200,000 alliance points each for an 8 hour). It is also advisable that members activate their GoW notifications so that even when offline, they will be alerted to any incoming war rallies. If targetted, the best option is to activate a shield when the war rally starts advancing. If a shield is not available, a good strategy is to send all your troops and your hero out to camp. This leaves only wall traps for the attacking war rally to destroy, and protects your hero from being captured.
War Rallies (led by a "|M|" alliance) - Only your leader and rank 4's are authorised to approve targets for war rallies. Any potential targets must be endorsed by at least 3 of the rank 4's/leader before it can commence. If the rally is against a level 15 or higher, it is preferable for members to send tier 3 troops only. Tier 2 troops may be used in rallies against level 14's and below.
- You must be able to drain the tile - DO NOT leave partially drained tiles in the wonder forest! This is extremely bad form.
- Your march to a tile in the wonder forest must not exceed 1 hour. If it is going to be more than this, you can get away with using winged boots to reduce the march time to 1 hour or less.
- Your tile may be stolen by someone who is closer to the tile than you (and vice versa), but use common sense and courtesy as you would outside of the wonder forest.
Tile Clashes - Members are expected to demonstrate common sense and follow these simple rules when farming for resources on tiles. Clashes on tiles, that often result in loss of troops, power and possibly a hero, are completely unavoidable. Tile clashes should be reported to your leader or a rank 4:
-
Do not log off the game if you are waiting for troops to arrive on a tile, as you need to ensure they arrive safely. Keep an eye on your troops on tiles as much as you can.
-
Never march on a tile that someone else is already occupying, or is about to occupy (always check for the orange footprints first). If you send a march and instantly get the red warning on your screen, either the other player was marching first or you both sent your marches at the same time. If you wish to discuss it with the other player, find who it is and send them a polite email, however consider whether they are going to arrive first, in which case it is recommended that you recall. If the other player was clearly marching first, recall immediately. No excuses. Make sure you have purchased some recalls from the Alliance store (cost - 5,000 alliance points each) in case this happens.
-
If someone else starts marching on a tile that you are already occupying or that you are already marching towards, and they don't recall, find who it is and send them a polite email asking them to recall. If they refuse to do so, and they are on the "Do Not Attack" list, you must recall before they reach the tile, even though they are being the aggressor. Inform your leader or a rank 4 immediately, and send no more communications to the aggressor - it will be dealt with through the leaders. If the player marching on your tile is not on the "Do Not Attack" list, find who it is and what level they are, and check in with your leader or a rank 4 as to the best course of action. Do not attack without first seeking advice, and remember that a collision with another player is likely to result in troop and power losses for both of you.
-
If you are being attacked by a much bigger player than you whilst on a tile, don't hang around and let them kill all your troops and take your hero! Send your march home before the attacker arrives.
